This building was designed and constructed by the architect Achille Manoussos in 1893. The 5 story museum houses works from Suna & Inan Kirac's private collection as well as items from the private collection of Sevgi & Erdogan Gonul. The permanent collection includes a work of prominent painter Osman Hamdi Bey's turtle trainer, as well as Ottoman period objects, ceramics and tiles from Kutahya and more. |
