Dogancay Museum
The Dogancay Museum, Turkey’s first modern art museum, was opened in 2004. Centrally located in the heart of Beyoglu, it provides a general overview of a small portion of the prolific oeuvre of one of Turkey’s leading artists, Burhan Dogancay, spanning five decades of his artistic evolution starting with his early figurative paintings to his wall-inspired works. One room of the museum showcases the work of his father, Adil.
