Çukurcuma - a small backstreet district in Beyoglu, just behind the Galatasaray Lycée - is the place to hunt for antiques and treasures at bargain prices. Contains several shops specializing in maps and odds and ends from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Today Çukurcuma is an important adress for designers ateliers.
